Vintage Holt Howard Jam N Jelly Jar Ca 1962 Rooster.
How sweet is this Holt Howard covered Jam 'N Jelly jar, with a highly embossed colorful rooster on the front. Ivory color predominates, with a tangerine red finial and horizontal stripe around the bottom. Spoon that came with it is plastic, and may or may not be original.
It measures about 4 1/4 inches high to top of finial and 4 inches wide.
Base is marked copyright 1962 Holt Howard.
No chips or hairline cracks. Gold lettering on the front is intact, and glaze remains bright and shiny.
A nice Holt Howard whimsy for the rooster collectors!
